Another successful day of homeschooling. I taught Lulu that if you really want a coconut macaroon but are too lazy to turn on the oven, you can pour sweetened condensed milk over a saucer of shredded coconut and eat it right away.
I also taught her how to play craps.
I try to stick with homeschooling subjects that are useful in real life, like calculating percentages and learning why pulleys and levers are useful. Craps is not useful. There’s no skill involved. It’s only mildly entertaining. But we did see who could add up the dice faster. That counts for something.
