50th wedding anniversary at the Langham Pasadena.
This was one of my favorite sessions – the nicest family imaginable were celebrating the 50th wedding anniversary of Carole and Tom. Their three children were present, as were all the grandchildren.
We started at the Dry Bar, which was a medley of champagne, blowouts and girl talk, then moved to the honorees’ home so the women could get ready while the men played golf. Then we were off to the Tap Room at the Langham Pasadena, where we enjoyed cocktails on the patio in perfect weather, then ended the night with dinner at Smitty’s in Pasadena.
This is the best thing about lifestyle photography: observing and documenting a family’s traditions and history in a natural setting.
