My portraits for women are inspired by art and fashion. There’s no one definition of a fine art portrait, but to me, it’s eye-catching, with beautiful light, and it illustrates something about you that you want to show the world.

They can be painterly and elegant with soft light. They pop off the page with visual drama. At your Portrait Experience, your session is designed for you based on your personal style.

At your Design Consultation, we’ll talk about style and wardrobe and what your dream photoshoot would be. Your personal style influences how I choose your backdrops, what kind of wardrobe you will bring, and how I light you. Every session is different and totally customized.

I have my experienced team on hand for expert hair and makeup, and my assistant and I will help with wardrobe styling. Your fine art portraits will reflect your preferred style.

You’ll bring a variety of outfits so you’ll have a variety of portraits. I use different backdrops, photograph you indoors and outside, and create various lighting designs so you’ll have a beautiful collection of images.

This is a fine art portrait designed for Sam. I used elements of art and fashion to design this luxury photoshoot. Sam is a woman in her 20's and she is wearing cream-colored ruffled fabric that is voluminous and spreads out behind her. She has on a pale pink, form-fitting top with spaghetti straps.
