We met at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena for these family photos. They were visiting from Rancho Palos Verdes for a combination anniversary/new baby celebration. They were also married here, so the hotel held a special place in their hearts.

It made perfect sense to choose the Langham to document their growing family.

This room at the Langham had lots of natural light and a beautiful gold armchair, which made an ideal setting for portraits. When you’re in your hotel room, everyone is more relaxed and you have anything you need for your babies nearby. Your children can run around and you don’t have to watch them as closely as if you were outside.

The hallways on the ground floor are wide and lined with windows. It’s a beautiful location for photos.

Outdoor locations at the Langham Hotel

The Langham is full of green spaces. They have a large lawn behind the hotel. There are fountains and palm trees. There’s a pedestrian bridge that’s the perfect spot for photos. There are winding paths that lead past the bungalows and benches set among trees and flowering bushes.

There’s an interior courtyard filled with flowers and a small pond.

I have a changing room with a full-length mirror and garment racks where you can hang your clothes.
