Can I tell you how glad I am that school is done and summer is here?
Our teacher hosted a party at her house on the last day of school to celebrate the end of a great year. We had a great time then went home and collapsed. The last week of school left us exhausted.
On the first day of summer, we have no plans. We do absolutely nothing that we don’t want to. We sleep in, watch cartoons in our pajamas, and don’t leave the house if we don’t want to. We call it Do Nothing Day and it usually lasts a good week.
