It is too hot to think straight, let alone work on the computer in a second-story sweat lodge office with no air conditioning. The heat index is 110 and I have sweat dripping from my ears. It’s 10:30 at night.
We sat in the children’s library for three hours today. Energy-wise policies have not caught on here. It is decadently, deliciously frigid in that library. After an hour, my daughter put a jacket on. I luxuriated in the chill. I like it as cold as a meat locker.
And this ice cream was the best I have ever tasted. Amazingly creamy and flavorful. (FYI, in second place is the homemade chocolate ice cream at the Four Seasons in Maui.) I had caramel pretzel crunch. We will definitely be stopping by again.
