During the school year, we meet every Tuesday morning for coffee.
Now that school’s out, we meet at the park.
I love Tuesday mornings. It’s a chance to catch up, to vent, to make plans, to gossip, to reconfirm why I love my friends so much.
To only share the good with our friends is to cut off a whole continent of ourselves that needs expression. And when you find people who own up to their own confusion, and can laugh about it and not try to make you think that you’re in the wilderness alone, you hang onto them.
