This cute puppy’s name is Beefy. We choose this white wall in my studio right in front of my window. The natural light and casual background gives a nice lifestyle feel to her profile picture. She sat on the ground so she could be at the right height to interact with her pet and we got this cute shot of him kissing her, and that caused her to have this big grin on her face. Pets are such an important part of Pet Porter Pal’s branding, and including a dog in the headshot gets the idea across immediately. If you work with dogs or cats, or if you are a pet sitter or dog walker, consider including them in your headshot. Carmel wanted a fun, casual lifestyle image that fit with her company. Her mission is to keep seniors and their pets together, which she does through home visits to feed, walk and play with pets. For this image, I put Carmel in front of my studio window and I had her sit on the floor so she could interact with Beefy. We kept it light and casual so her headshot would convey her friendliness and approachability and love for animals. You can see her site here.

If your pet is well-behaved, we can shoot in the studio. If your pet is a bit more rambunctious, we can shoot outside. Either way, we can capture lifestyle images that speak to your potential clients.
