It’s just not as crowded here. Families have large backyards with big vegetable gardens and front yards that keep their houses at a safe distance from the street. There’s always plenty of parking and you don’t have to leave your house early to get somewhere.
When we went to see the matinee of Cars in 3D, there were only three other kids in the theater. When we went swimming at the public pool in the village of Clinton, population 1337, at 3:00 in the afternoon on a hot and humid day, we parked right near the entrance and we got a chaise lounge and table at poolside.
