Today while my daughter was in the other room arranging her art on the refrigerator, she was singing All Er Nothun’ from Oklahoma. Sigh. (February 2011)
Last year was our Summer of Musicals and we watched Band Wagon, Silk Stockings, Kiss Me Kate, Oklahoma, Oliver, Music Man, The Pajama Game, Into the Woods, Singin’ in the Rain, Meet Me in St. Louis, Calamity Jane, Annie Get Your Gun, My Fair Lady, The King and I, Help, A Hard Day’s Night and Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.
The summer before that was our Summer of Disney and we watched every Disney movie we could, concentrating on the classics.
I’m not sure what we’ll immerse ourselves in this summer.
